Our Power Collective (OPC) was founded by Raven Scott and Soren Tsui. We originally met on a Community Violence Intervention (CVI) project while working for separate companies. Back then we joked about “one day if we go out on our own.” The jokes became reality years later when we realized we could be more nimble and impactful on our own. We launched OPC in 2025.

Our mission is to advance community safety by sharing expert solutions that foster equitable partnerships, drive impactful programs, and equip professionals with the skills and holistic support they need to thrive.

The name Our Power reflects our belief in community-driven approaches to public safety and the strength of collective efficacy. Together, we can build the world we want to live in.

We are cooperatively owned and operated because we believe that how we do this work is just as important as what we do.

Our Values

We are guided by six core values:

Thriving Community

We’re fighting for a world where all people, regardless of race or zip code, have access to safety, connection, and opportunity. We take on projects that bring us closer to that world.

Collective Prosperity

We believe prosperity is most powerful when it’s shared. We seek win-wins to ensure our work strengthens local ecosystems and leaves lasting value for everyone involved.

People First

Authentic, deep relationships are the foundation of everything we do, from how we work together to how we engage with clients.

Respect the Craft

We believe that anything worth doing is worth doing well. Our communities deserve no less than our very best. We are constantly learning, reflecting, and growing so we can deliver the highest-quality services and continually level up.

Move Together

From our office, to yours, to community town halls, we believe in sharing power, being transparent, and making democratic decisions.

Sustainability

We’ve done our job well when you no longer need us. We work hard so our services lead to sustainable local practices.
